Psychology services for women, children, and families
How does telehealth work?
Telehealth allows you to access healthcare services throughout Australia, from the comfort of your home, office, or any space you feel works for you. It's a great option for those who live remotely where services are often limited, and for those in the city who would prefer to avoid being stuck in traffic or on public transport getting to and from appointments.
To book an appointment via telehealth, please send an email enquiry or use the 'Get in Touch' form and we will let you know the available appointment times.
How to access online psychology
Yellow Psychology uses Coviu, a reliable and secure telehealth platform. There is no need to download an app, you simply click on the provided link to access your appointment. Online psychology sessions are available evenings and Saturday mornings, you won't need time off work to attend, making it easier for you to access support.
Bulk-billed psychology with no out of pocket costs to you
Bulk-billed sessions are available for those who need it. Every Australian is entitled to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year under the Medicare Better Access Initiative. You will need a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan to get started. Yellow Psychology operates with a social justice philosophy - access to quality health care should not be dependant on money. If you need to continue with therapy after using your 10 free sessions, you can continue by paying the the equivalent of the rebate ($98.95).
Please get in touch to find out more, or contact your GP for a referral.
