  • NSW Firearms Health Risk Assessment

When applying for a NSW Firearms licence, the NSW Police Firearms Registry may require you to complete a Health Risk Assessment with a qualified health practitioner. Yellow Psychology provides this service through comprehensive psychological evaluation and reporting. The initial appointment includes a clinical interview, this is followed by psychometric assessments as determined appropriate, and completed with reporting. You will also need your GP to supply the last five years of medical history for the psychologist review and take into consideration when reporting. The time taken to complete the assessment may vary depending on individual history or the number of assessments required - allow at least 60 to 90 minutes for the initial appointment. Payment can be made in full via EFT or credit card upfront, or Afterpay to split the cost into four interest free payments.
